OUR STORY

My name is Kjirsten (silent j), and I am the proud owner of Mercy Mountain Doodles. I am a single mom of four beautiful children and am living my dream on our small forest farm. My children are the heart of my world and share my passion for animals.

Growing up, I had all kinds of animals, from hamsters to kittens and rabbits, dogs, and horses. Dogs have consistently held a profoundly significant role in my life's journey.

When I was twelve, I was grappling with the challenges of middle school and the pangs of loneliness and depression; my parents gifted me a dog of my own – my "heart dog." This little dog was my faithful companion through those tough teenage years. She helped me in a way that my friends and parents couldn’t and touched my heart deeply with her fierce loyalty and consistent presence.

Now, my dream is to raise puppies with a high standard of excellence that can go on to be exceptional family companions, skilled therapy dogs, and reliable service dogs. In my quest for the ideal companion, I chose Bernedoodles due to their hypoallergenic coats, remarkable intelligence, and steadfast devotion to family. They are truly amazing dogs!
